I Ching - What's New?

Q:  I have seen The Easy I Ching.  You seem to have a constant work in progress.  Is there anything new since The Nu I Ching came out, and if so, what?  J.S.

A:  I am in constant awe at the unfolding symmetry and incredible depth of the I Ching as it is revealed in the original Nu Kua/Fu Hsi cryptogram.  The Easy I Ching was so named because the original meaning of the pictogram is "the easy, the simple, the naturally given... that which happens to everyone every day."  Later this pictogram was translated as "change."  The Easy I Ching was the first version that uses only one coin while yielding a three-part reading.

In The Nu I Ching, the section on DNA has been expanded.  Figures have been added that highlight the symmetry of the system, both the square and the circle, and the history of the evolution of the I Ching has been augmented.

As always, each reading lends new depth and dimension to one's personal experience.  The idea of the  "ease and simplicity" can be misleading, since we are used to the complexity of most versions of the I Ching.
